This stereotype is suggesting that most fat people thing about food and eating. Another representation of this music video is that all flight attendants have to be thin, female and pretty, this is because females or gay males give more of a warm welcome and approachable to someone with more of a masculine body. Also have to be thin to fit down the aisle as to someone who was bigger would struggle. Construction of representations in news - Us shooting This news item is about a Us shooting that happened in California. It has been constructed as an important and high-ranking piece of news. This is because it shows a red strip and white bold writing at the bottom and middle of the screen saying 'breaking news' which brings more attention and notice to the viewer making them aware of what has happened. Also the words 'breaking news' are shown in huge letters across the screen making the audience stop and watch. The title of this news piece is Thousand Oaks: 'Mass shooting', the adjective 'mass' implies having an effect on or involving a large number of people which is why the news have used it in the title. Coronation Street -  Faye finds out she's pregnant. This video clip is from coronation street and it shows a young teenage girl finding out she's pregnant. Foreshadowing the dominant stereotype that young people are irresponsible. However, this is not an accurate representation as teenage pregnancy is going down rapidly than other years. Young people are often represented negatively in media texts, which can cause controversy and stimulate debate. Another stereotype is that boys are uncaring and not friendly but the boy in this clip is challenging the stereotype because he shows compassion and warmth to Faye. Furthermore, this clip reinforces the stereotype that young children are becoming more and more over weight implying that parents aren't providing a healthy and nutritious route for their children. My Advert / Analysis

My Advert The psycho graphic audience for my product is females using it for everyday cleaning of their hair.  The background represents how hygienic and healthy the shampoo is by showing nature, as nature is seen as natural.  The colour green implies an organic smell which indicates the buyer they well end up with a natural and cleanliness smell.  The use of the bubbles have connotations of lightweight and freshness making your hair feel nice and light after use of the shampoo.  The use of the colour white and the waterfall represents cleanliness and purity where as the colour blue indicates freshness and healthiness.  The tag line "For everyday cleaning that's not so everyday" has connotations of luxury and richness as its not for everyday but the buyer can use it everyday as its not expensive.

Its a horror film as the title says "scream" and the picture is a knife with blood dripping from it which suggests violence and murder. The colour red is associated with blood, danger and strength. The bold, white title contrast with the background because it makes the title stand out more.Also the background is black which creates the tone of death, evil and mystery. This print advert shows a knife being used to cut though a carrot and a chopping bored implying that the knife is so sharp it can cut though the wood. The colour silver implies that the knife is shiny, modern and clean and also often symbolises wealth. The target audience is mainly people who cook. However, on the other hand its stereotypically women who cook and would pick out the utensils for cooking. This print advert shows Pepsi light in crates on the roof instead of the floor implying that the Pepsi is light enough for them to float meaning it is a less sugary drink and is a no-calorie carbonated cola soft drink. This visual hyperbole is used to convey the message that this drink is not laden with sugar and calories. It is particularly persuasive as it playfully suggests that the consumers of Pepsi light won't gain any weight.
